Each Russian GSH-6 metal helmet features a generous 9 inch opening and is 12 inches tall, large enough to fit any adult sized head. The hinged visor can lift from the front as shown, and is sealed into place using quick-release hinges. Lever on left side enables adjustable built-in sun shades to drop down over eyes. Comes complete with a seperate interior headcover and microphone assembly, as well as original connecting tubes and cables. Zippered and grommeted neck piece provides and air-tight seal. Visor is electrically heated to keep it from fogging. This is a genuine article, used by astronauts for high altitude and outer space work.
