COLORED SMOKE POWDER

This chemical is a non-explosive powder, capable of generating colored smoke when ignited in a flash pot or smoke cup. It can be safely burned indoors provided you use it in a well ventilated area with a high ceiling. NOTE: This is real smoke, therefore it will set off any smoke detectors that it comes in contact with. Keep smoke away from detectors, or seek permission from the fire department to disable them. To use in a flash pot - First break up any lumps by shaking the bottle. Then load one half teaspoon or more into a nichrome wire ignited flash pot. For best results, use double stranded nichrome wire running directly through the powder. This powder will also ignite in a battery-operated flash pot, provided you wrap the powder in Flash Paper first. Flash Pots using Surefire Igniters or Electric Matches can be used, but wrap the powder in Flash Paper and touch the igniter tip to the paper, not the powder.DO NOT MIX THIS SMOKE POWDER WITH ANY OTHER CHEMICALS! To do so may cause spontaneous combustion. It must burn by itself to create colored smoke; however the colored smoke powers are compatible with each other. This means you can safely burn the different colored smokes side by side (in a trail) causing a changing color effect, or mix them together to create your own custom color. Possible uses - for magic, use matching smoke colors with your silks. For rock bands, use as above or in guitar flash pot. For clowns, it’s perfect for simulating a fake fire without flames (eg. red house - red smoke, blue pail - blue smoke).

This smoke presents no hazard when being used, however, some people do have a lower tolerance to smoke than others and could exhibit some slight eye and throat irritation when exposed to this product. Anyone with respiratory problems should avoid direct exposure. Colored smoke may cause some discoloration to clothing and silks, so avoid direct contact if possible. Most props can be wiped clean. Keep a water spray bottle and two fire extinguishers within reach.
