Moving the lens incorrectly with force can damage the lens. Lens will glide easily along rails when moved using the tab holder as shown on the left. Grasping the lens and forcing the lens to move, as illustrated on the right, can damage the mechanism that holds the lens in place.
Do not completely remove the lenses from the unit unless absolutely necessary, as lenses can be damaged if replaced without care.
