Your Fog Jet fog machine is shipped directly from our facility to your front door, realizing great savings for you, our valued customer. No middle men, area reps or retail overhead result in a high performance machine for less than half of what you would normally expect to pay.

The first thing you'll notice is that your new Fog Jet comes completely encased in a very thick foam, keeping it safe during even the roughest of shipping circumstances. This high performance machine is tested and inspected prior to shipping, so that you can be assured of a satisfying fog experience. If you do notice any problems or breakages, notify us right away. You may notice a little moisture in or on the machine. This is because the lines have been filled with fluid to keep the machine lubricated.

The first thing you'll want to do is to attach the hanging bracket. This bracket can also be used as an easy method for carrying the machine. Unpack the heavy duty hand knobs, and screw them on to each side of the machine to attach the hanging bracket.

Before plugging it in or going any further, fill the machine with high performance Industry Standard fog fluid from Star Light and Magic. Using a high quality fluid does make a difference, and a low quality fluid will cause pump failure and void the warranty. If the price is "too good to be true" or the fluid is named after a cute animal, you can bet that it will eventually wear down the components of the machine. Make sure the plastic tube is pushed down so that the end is in the bottom of the fluid reservoir.

Next, you will want to plug in you remote and plug in your machine. Turn it on and wait approximately 5 to 7 minutes. The red light will switch to green when it is ready. Pushing the remote will activate the machine and release the fog. Keep in mind that the machine will smoke a little during the first hour of operation as the new coat of paint will have to "burn off". This is normal. Do not let the machine get wet under any circumstances, as this can fry the internal components. The Fog Jet must have adequate ventilation also. Confining the machine will cause it to overheat. Do not place any of the remotes on top of the machine. The inside of the Fog Jet will get hot during operation.

If you purchased a machine with a wireless remote, you can plug that in instead. Do not place the remote on the machine itself. The light on the receiver will got from red to green when it is ready.

Keep in mind that the nozzle will get very hot during operation. We have placed a safe guard around the nozzle, so it is difficult to accidentily touch, but remotely possible under the right circumstances. We have never had a report of such a thing occurring, but are aware that it could. Using the Fog Jet often (once every 1 -2 weeks) is good for the machine, and keeps the components well lubricated.
