Fresnels
Fresnels are so-called because of their ridged "fresnel" lens (rhymes with "the bell"). The lens spreads the light out evenly with a minimum of shadows, making it ideal for a theatrical stage or movie set floodlight. This light is ideal for creating a wide spread of light that does not vary from area to area, and will not have any "hot spots". Light has the same brightness near the edges as it does in the center!
High Efficiency Fresnel Spotlights produce a diffused, yet controlled light. Great for area, side, back, and wash light.
8 inch Pro Fresnel with Barn Doors
This fresnel was designed with the consumate professional in mind. It's the "Cadillac" of fresnels and features all the thoughtful details you would expect in a high-end light. Comes with 120 volt plug installed as standard with theatre stage pins, so it can be easily switched out in a moments notice. Recessed heavy duty on/off switch prevents accidental activation. Creates a wide field of bright light - approx. 15 feet from just 10 feet away. Barn doors are fully rotatable, so "light spill" can be controlled from any angle. Hinged roller makes barn doors easy to remove or adjust. 1000 Watt bulb locks into place, and has been specially manufactured for our new fixture.
